Welcome to the Clarke Lab!

Our mission is to prevent heart disease. To do so, we must understand the sources of risk starting at birth and extending throughout the lifespan. We take special interest in premature and accelerated disease, which often catches patients and doctors by surprise and for which there are gaps in data, clinical practice, and guidelines. We are attacking this problem by integrating genetics, epidemiology, and data science.
