Congratulations to Dr. Alexa Barad who was awarded the American Heart Association Postdoctoral Fellowship! Since joining Clarke Lab, Alexa has been leading efforts to understand how our genomes impact our responses to what we eat. Her proposal is titled, “Understanding individual variability in LDL-C responses to diet through precision nutrition.” We are thankful to the AHA for its steadfast support of fundamental research and early investigators!
