The AHA EPI|Lifestyle Scientific Sessions was held in Boston this year, and the Clarke Lab had a great presence! Dr. Alexa Barad, Dr. Rose Huang, and Eliza Scharstein all presented their original research, with topics ranging from the interaction between diet and genetics on lipids, the effects of healthy lifestyle and genetics on plaque burden, and assessing exercise patterns in biobank particiapants using wearables. For her abstract, Alexa was selected for the AHA EPI|Lifestyle travel award.
