As usual, there was a great Stanford presence at the annual AHA national meeting. This year, Shoa presented on current limitations and challenges related to equity and clinical applications of polygenic risk scores. Blake was selected as a finalist for the Elizabeth Barrett-Connor Research Award from the Council on Epidemiology and Prevention. He presented his research on age of diabetes diagnosis and mortality.
